Dr Jenny Bromberger has been a GP for almost 30 years and has practiced in Melbourne (Where she attended medical school with Dr Jonathan Bentley), Brisbane and more recently in Sydney after moving here in 2010.
She has experience across a broad range of general practice disciplines, and was an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for several years. In the 1980’s she established a practice devoted to Preventative Health, Nutrition, Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Obesity – well before these issues were considered central to General Practice.
Most recently she has focused on the geriatric population and mental health. She has trained in both the United States of America and Queensland in a variety of cognitive Behavioural techniques and has completed her Mental Health Skills Training (As accredited by GPMHSC). Looking after older patients brings sharply into focus how vital it is to optimise health and lifestyle throughout one’s life. Jenny enjoys the challenge of reducing patient dependence on prescription medications and is thrilled to be offering her skills in this high quality integrative medical environment.
